Former pace bowler Zadran is receiving treatment for HLH, a rare immune system disorder, at a hospital in India.

Former Afghanistan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran is in a critical condition in New Delhi, fighting a rare and aggressive illness that has left the former international cricketer battling for survival.

Ghamai said that Shapoor was suffering from a severe, widespread infection that affected his entire body, including Tuberculosis, and had also spread to his brain, as confirmed by MRI and CT scans.
