Having more VRAM is good, but it does nothing for a weak GPU or PC ...
Insufficient VRAM is a plague, but things haven't gone out of control yet ...
Apple silicon VRAM limits can be raised with Terminal; 14336 MB on a 16 GB Mac is a common balance for stability.
